I was ... surprised. I love me some Mimi Renee, so I couldn't wait to finally have a breather to sit down and devour this. I was hoping for closure, since DD3 came and PB2 ended on yet another cliffhanger. I was sure NB3 would tie up the loose ends since the characters appear prominently enough to have their own chapters.No spoilers, however I will say this: the whole cliffhanger deal is so overdone. I really didn't like the reverse character development either. Barbie was a smart killer in the first two books and took no mess. Nephew was hopelessly devoted to her. Now we have Barbie as a sniveling waterbag and Nep is an abusive dolt?!
I didn't like the storyline or pace--in this one it's almost as if Mimi Renee was bored or pushing a deadline? "Let me just throw a bunch of curveballs and "OMG" so nobody catches onto the fact that I'm over it."
This book has characters from 3 separate series but it still didn't move me. I feel as if KC was thrown in for shock value, and I've accepted that we will never know what went down with Bright and Larry after the twins are kidnapped. I guess the issue with these stories is that the authors are so busy trying to write action-packed chapters that they forget to tell the underlying stories.

I love this book I couldn't put it down . It was filled with drama and the life of Barbie and Nephew was like no other.Barbie really did love Nephew and it was sad he didn't believe her and how her life ended. MIMI RENEE please do another book about Nephew I would love to read more about the different obstacles he continued to have in his life. Now I'm patiently waiting for Pretty Bright 3 to drop.MIMI RENEE great author .
FIRE!!!!!! Definitely worth the wait!!! This was by far one of the BEST series I have read!! Nothing about this installment was predictable & the twists and turns had me on edge!! Poor Barbie. ..I kinda felt bad for her but baby girl was CRAZY!!! But KC proved to still be that chick!! Nephew shocked the hell outta me tho..lol ugh!! I hate that the book had to end but I'm looking forward to the next masterpiece from author Mimi Renee!! 5 starts!!!!
As always with MiMi Renee this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Boyyyyy did she take us on a rollercoaster ride with this one. I don't know who is crazier psycho Barbie or her lunatic husband, Nephew, you be the judge! Barbie is fighting to keep her marriage together and to keep her past demons behind her. The question is, will she win? We also get to revisit the main characters of the Deadly Decisions and Pretty Bright series. This story had me laughing and crying and it ultimately left the readers with a message to hold on to.
Mimi Renee has done it again.It well so worth the wait.I can't believe Nephew and Barbie.Those two were hella crazy and made for each other.I totally forgot that Ryan and Nephew had a thang back in the day and so did Bishop and Barbie.Ryan and Bright was super cray why would you get involved like that.I surprised at KC but then again I ain't lol she is super Bad.I felt bad for all the mothers.Then the secrets and turns was crazy as hell,I forgot about wat happen to Miracle.This damn book was so damn good I so can't wait to get Pretty Bright 3 and KC 3
It has been awhile since we last heard from Barbie, but the story picks up right where we left off. By bringing Bright and KC into Barbie' s timeline, we were also able to catch up with the lead characters in two other Mimi Renee dynamic series. It was seamless and kept the momentum of the book suspenseful and on full blast. I don't want give any spoilers so i will just say that you will not be disappointed! Mimi Renee's writing continues to show growth and is not publishing your typical urban fiction trash. I love her books....own them all and will continue support her.
My thoughts of the book is that IT was awesome I loved every minute of it a true page turner..I became a Mimi Renee fan back in October when I first read her first series DEADLY DECISION I II III & I man I tell u great series....I had NB 1 already on my kindle but never read it till she released NB 3 so in order for me to understand Nickerson Barbie I had to jump on board & read NB 1 & NB 2 & I'm glad I did...this author ink game is on point & her imagination is wild...now I don't wanna say to say much & I hope I'm not but Barbie is crazy as hell & Nephew no different in my opinion they both were meant for each other...I felt so sorry for Barbie even though SHE was crazy it's like she really couldn't help it even though she tried...I loved mother E..this was a great series I enjoyed all three books each book was a true page turner & if u haven't read any of Mimi Renee books u have no idea what your missing so get your one click on ASAP...

Mimi, I just can't believe how it ended and I'm so heartbroken. Barbie was everything that I knew she could be in book 3. All she wanted was to be normal, have the voices go away, be an awesome mother and be loved by Nephew. Unfortunately, there is always something that has to go wrong that'll alter the plan. I was definitely rooting for a happy end.
Nephew with his dog a$s really pissed me off. He's out here popping babies in females like I pop mints and will have the audacity to pick and choose which ones he'll claim and care for. Barbie and Nephew should've switched roles in the end.
This is a must read!!
Let me finish before my pressure gets any higher..
